Members of this faction are first met in Act 5 when playing the Ashes of Malmouth Expansion. The Coven of Ugdenbog is one of the allied Factions in Grim Dawn. There is a lot of unexplored territory that is hinted at in the game's lore and if Forgotten Gods is of any indication the world of Grim Dawn is quite vast with plenty of room for new adversaries to crop up for us to farm for loot. Guardian Syndia informs you that several witches traveling to join the coven have. Worse still, there are secrets within the bog which even the coven avoids, lest mistakes of the past be repeated and the Luminari rediscover their trail. Grim Dawn's sequel, if there ever will be one, has a lot of room to expand upon the lore of the first game. This is an Act 5 side quest, offered by Guardian Syndia in Covens Refuge. Those who found refuge with the coven must remain ever vigilant as new threats, whether from lost travelers stumbling upon their hideout or from the deadly wildlife of the bog itself, continue to arise. Having successfully evaded the pursuit of the empire's Luminari for decades, the witches created a place of respite deep within the treacherous Ugdenbog, a place not even thier determined pursuers dare to tread. I liked the Grim Souls idea for those who thought the game was just too easy, or Vanalinor which slows it right down to something that feels like Titan Quest. Point, I went and took a look at there are at least 20 new classes and heaps of enhancements as well.

A congregation of witches and warlocks, the coven seeks to shield its persectued brothers and sisters from a society that does not understand and thus (often rightfully) fears their powers. Lol There are already a ton of mods for Grim Dawn.
